Every great idea starts somewhere—for Coffee Haws, it started in a room filled with laughter and a bit of restless energy. In 2025, after 14 years of working behind a screen as a graphics artist, Suhito Domingo found himself looking for a new “canvas.”

It began as a joke. Hanging out with his close friends—Daniel, Arvinne, and Anthony—the conversation drifted to a “what if” scenario. Out of pure boredom and a shared love for a good brew, they started joking about opening a cafe.

A Journey of Taste

But the joke had roots in a deep, long-standing passion. Through years of travel, Suhito didn’t just see new places; he immersed himself in their coffee cultures. Every cafe visited, from bustling city corners to quiet coastal escapes, became a point of comparison for what a truly great coffee should be.

Using those experiences as a benchmark, the “joke” turned into a serious mission: to take the best of what he had tasted out there and bring it back home to create the best coffee in town.

From Blueprints to the Bar

The vision finally took shape in the heart of Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija. To turn these inspirations into reality, Suhito combined his artistic eye with the expertise of experienced baristas and rigorous training. Together, they meticulously crafted a menu that balances world-class quality with local heart—a menu that our community has grown to love.

The “Haws” isn’t just a name; it’s the ultimate enclosure for community and creativity.
